Does TKO offer group training?

Absolutely! TKO offers private (1v1), semi-private (2-3 athletes), and small group (4-8 athletes) training options. Semi-private and small group training options offer significant cost-savings per session and provide a fun, competitive, and intense training environment without sacrificing individual coaching attention. We also offer remote coaching, with fully customized programming administered through an app called TrueCoach.

Do I have to go to a facility to train with TKO?

No! TKO is a mobile and nimble speed coaching experience that strives to reduce the barriers to speed training by offering multiple locations throughout San Diego county. When you sign up to train, we collaborate on the closest location for you! We bring all the equipment and the energy.

How often should I be sprint training?

If you want rapid speed gains, we recommend two (2) dedicated speed sessions per week. However, we recommend starting at one (1) sprint training session per week to gradually build a tolerance to more training load, especially if you are balancing sport practices. The optimal number of sessions per week for getting fast is two (2) per week or three (3) in a 10 day period. The bare minimum we recommend to maintain speed is three (3) sessions in 30 days, or one speed exposure every 10 days. Results are not guaranteed at this frequency!
